Launxp Biomedical (6876) announced today (20th) that the company presented experimental data on LXP103 at the “2nd International Obesity and Metabolic Conference (IOMC 2026)” held in Singapore from July 17 to 19. LXP103 is Launxp Biomedical’s latest weight management drug candidate. Preliminary animal study data indicates that LXP103 possesses the potential to regulate body weight and lipid metabolism, while helping to maintain subsequent weight stability—offering a new research direction in the field of weight management.

Launxp Biomedical noted that with the growing global demand for weight management, existing related products often face the challenge of weight rebound after discontinuation. In preliminary evaluations, LXP103 demonstrated potential in weight control and lipid regulation, laying an exploratory foundation for subsequent feasibility studies in long-term weight management.

The company stated that the LXP103 experimental data presented at the IOMC conference was derived from relevant animal models. The study observed that the group receiving LXP103 experienced a relatively flatter rate of weight gain. During the observation period following discontinuation, the LXP103 group showed a lower trend of weight rebound, demonstrating its development potential in weight maintenance.
